Many - probably the most accurate and honest - have negative reviews, by users who have been burned by them. Many have what look to be essentially fake 5-star reviews with no useful commentary. There are 42 in the list, and it seems like new entries in the 'Mac cleaner' market space pop up every day, metastasizing like a cancer. (I did a search for 'cleaner'.) If MacUpdate will let me, I intend to post this every time a new or updated version of one of these things shows up on this site. As a public service to the MacUpdate community, I've found as many of these "cleaner" apps on this website as I could and listed them them below.

This is not a review per se, it is a discussion of the class of software to which this program belongs.
We've fixed several bugs, including one that was preventing the 'TRY AGAIN' button from working correctly when a subscription fails to activate. When you're analyzing a large volume of bad or similar photos, you now have the option to select all photos (and deselect the ones you want to keep), rather than selecting them one by one. But now, we'll take you straight there when you click ‘Manage Allowed Sites.’ Previously, you had to scroll down on the ‘Settings’ screen to find the ‘Browser Cleaning’ and the ‘allowed websites’ section. Now, you can easily remove cookies, cache, and browsing history from your Vivaldi web browser. We've listened to your feedback and have added browser cleaning for Vivaldi.

Absolutely I would recommend ESL and I would use them again and again.This version brings new browser cleaning in addition to some ease-of-use upgrades for our ‘Analyze photos’ feature, plus some handy bug fixes. The issue was resolved in a timely basis and I was able to resume my work quickly.
